Algarve coast and Sado Estuary (near Lisbon) are privileged areas for dolphin watching. A boat trip on the Sado estuary, coast of Tróia and Arrábida to observe a unique community of dolphins in Portugal: the dolphins of the Sado. The population of bottlenose dolphin residents is unique in Portugal and rare in the world.
Algarve coast are high, but they do not live here. They are circulating through the waters in search of higher temperatures and places with greater quantity (and quality) of food. The best way to watch dolphins will be on a boat ride along the coast, thus taking the opportunity to also admire the magnificent rock formations.
